Damned Dollies will be at Puce Pop for sure. It’s taking place October 4th and 5th at St. Michael ’s Church Hall basement 11-7 both Saturday and Sunday.
The address is 105 St-Viatuer west, just across the street from Cafe Olympico. They have the best coffee in all of Montreal in my opinion. I want to bathe in that coffee. I’ll be sure to drink a gallon while I’m at the craft fair.
This Church basement is a great spot and the location of many past craft fairs for Damned Dollies.
I am excited to come back to Montreal for a visit even if though it’s mainly a work trip. I’ll have to fit in visiting the family, dropping stock off at several stores and going to see Irma Thomas! I am extremely excited for this show at the Ukrainian Federation. Irma is one of my most favorite soul ladies. Needless to say it will be a busy and fun weekend!
I will be selling a new batch of Bell Jar Dollies at Puce Pop. I luckily found a glass blower here in Toronto who will kindly blow some glass domes for me in exchange for a printed Hoodie.
Here is one of the Bell Jar Dollies I’ll have at the fair.

I am finally settled in my new apartment in Toronto.
The move from Montreal was no fun. We almost ran out of Gas on the highway and got yelled at by a very angry woman police officer. She was ripping.

I own too much stuff and the loading and unloading the truck was miserable. However my lovely friends helped me out and I survived.
Working from home has been a real adjustment. I much prefer having a studio space with wicked studio mates to chat with but my home studio will have to do for now. I really miss my studio mates thepinpals.typepad.com. They are two of my most favorite people! I try to break up my day by having lunch with a buddy or visiting my sister at some point. otherwise home studio time is too isolating. I will go bananas!

One of the best parts of living in Toronto is the St. Lawrence Flea market. I am a Flea market addict.
Here is what I got last weekend.
it’s an Edwardian pillow case from around 1910 . At least that’s what the stout old british lady I bought it from told me. Aren’t those cats messed up? I love it.
I have decided to be part of Puce Pop this year. It’s a craft fair happening in Montreal the 4th and 5th of October. I will be making Bell Jar Dollies for it.
I will post all the details for Puce Pop closer to the date.
